I started my real estate career on 1 November of 2000. I come from a family of realtors : my mother was in real estate for 30 years and had her own franchise . My brother and sister in law owned the Berea Seeff franchise. My late father in law and step mother in law were in real estate for 20 odd years .I started at Pam Golding Properties and was the top flat agent in 2002 . In 2006 I decided to move to a smaller office as I needed a change . I had just purchased my house through Acutts Morningside and there was an opportunity to work so I took it up . I achieved Diamond Status in my first year . Unfortunately after 2 years the franchisee was forced to close his branch due to the changes in the market regarding the NQF4. I was very impressed by the new kid on the block at the time the branding was fantastic etc . The company being none other than Leapfrog. I did my NQF4 (compulsory qualification for all agents) in 2008 and was one of 5 in an office of 15 to 20 to pass . Unfortunately due to bad management Leapfrog was a sinking ship. In 2010 I moved to a much larger office of 40 agents, Wakefields Berea. I was under the leadership of Mike Riceman and Eddie da Silva where I gained extensive knowledge and experience. In 2019 I was top agent for the year . Unfortunately in 2020 COVID 19 hit the world. Wakefields had a lot of changes and I knew it was now time to move to a new progressive brand . In February 2023 I decided to move to Tyson Properties Glenwood which is a lovely personalised franchise and fabulous brand. Through having worked for various brands and both large and small companies I am adaptable and able to deal with the often tumultuous experience of buying and selling property.
